Accountant / Administrator

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to work in our Barhale Response mechanical and electrical joint venture, carrying out both accounts and administrative roles to support the Managing Director as the Business seeks growth opportunities.

This role involves maintaining the books and records of the business and ensuring production of accurate financial reports, along with supporting the business and providing assistance and management information to the management team. The post-holder will need to be experienced in both accounts and general administrative duties. The suitable candidate will have strong organisational, communication and administration skills along with a broad range of accounting experience and the ability to set up an effective and efficient finance function. This role is based in Walsall with some travel required, and is part time at 25 hours per week.

Administrator

We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrator who will work in our Procurement team to provide specific data input duties as part of a wider project to re-organise certain administrative duties from our Optimise joint venture into the Central Procurement department. You will be required to provide general administrative support to the team, by organising, co-ordinating and assisting with their workload commitments. This position might suit a recent graduate or similar, looking for their first opportunity to work within a high-performing team and in a challenging but exciting business. The post-holder will be able to demonstrate how they would add value in terms of professional capabilities and also behaviours and attitude. They will need to be process-driven, with the ability to tactfully challenge, and possess an excellent attention to detail.

Civil Discipline Engineer

We are currently seeking a Civil Discipline Engineer to be based in our client’s co-located office in Peterborough, as part of the Anglian Water @one Alliance. The purpose of this role includes carrying out optioneering and detailed design for infrastructure projects. Projects will be mainly wastewater related and you will ensure that the solutions developed give the best whole life value to the client. The role will include providing technical support during the construction phase and project close out. You will also plan enabling activities to ensure timely work packages for the construction teams, which are safe to construct using off site and modular building techniques. You will need to be able to demonstrate significant experience in water infrastructure and knowledge of construction processes and technical design, and be a good team worker with the ability to work independently and make your own decisions also.

Cost Clerk

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Cost Clerk to be responsible for ensuring correct allocation to schedule of cost codes and ensuring provision and maintenance of site premises, through managing client relationships, contract finances and information. The successful candidate will manage and facilitate the cost close out of projects resolving any cost issues which arise, provide information for reporting, verify plant and material details and deal with invoices and credit notes. This role would suit someone with experience of utilising industry processes and cost systems, with the ability to work well within a team but also under own intuition and use effective organisational and time management skills to complete tasks to deadline.

Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an enthusiastic Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial support to project teams, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. The successful applicant will hold excellent interpersonal and communication skills as they will liaise with customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including agreement of variations, claims and any additional payments. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual who has previous experience in the industry, familiar with ICE/NEC contracts and keen to deliver accurate reports and ensure adherence to commercial processes.
