We are delighted to announce that the Barhale Doosan JV, Yorkshire Water and Stantec team picked up an award at the Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber Awards last night (14th July).

The Clifton Wetlands: Transforming Waste Water Management entry won in the Net Zero category.

For this category, judges were looking for projects or organisations whose achievements, in relation to the legacy their work leaves, demonstrate strong environmental performance in terms of carbon and other Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, in waste and water efficiency and in sustainable materials over the life of a project (including its ultimate decommissioning). We are very proud that the Clifton Wetlands project was recognised for this, through the project’s sustainable, low carbon approach to wastewater treatment.
