Barhale Construction Services Appoints New Head of Signs & Supplies Division8th June 2018
Kirstie Fish has been appointed to the position of Head of Signs & Supplies Division at Barhale Construction Services Ltd (BCS), part of leading civil engineering and infrastructure specialist Barhale. Having worked in the construction supplies sector for over 15 years, she will play a leading role in BCS’ strategic growth plan.
Before joining BCS, Kirstie was Head of Business & Sales at Bunzl UK Ltd, trading as Lee Brothers, in the West Midlands and also worked for drainage manufacturer Clarksteel Ltd in Peterborough.
“I’m delighted to be joining BCS at a time when it is actively looking to grow,” says Kirstie. “In my previous role, as well as heading up sales, I oversaw the design, build and launch of an on-line B2B and B2C website platform and I’m looking to bring some of this experience to bare on the development of a new BCS site.”
James Mulchinock, General Manager at BCS Group, echoes Kirstie’s thoughts saying: “It’s great to have somebody as experienced as Kirstie joining our team as we implement our strategic growth plan.
“Kirstie will initially focus her time on our procurement and work winning strategies for the Signs & Supplies Division as well as overseeing our online presence.”
As part of its growth strategy, BCS recently acquired 100 new Renault vans to supplement and add to its fleet. Ranging from two-seater Kangoo vans to double cab tippers, the vehicles have taken the size of the fleet to in excess of 200. Elsewhere, to support its growth, BCS is actively looking to recruit a Head of Fabrication.
In her spare time, Kirstie, who lives in Theddingworth, Leicestershire likes to spend time with her family and friends, particularly her 5 year old nephew, as well as gardening and reading.
