Internal Sales Executive
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and driven individual into this exciting opportunity based at our offices in Walsall. As the Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing your own customer portfolio, with a keen focus on account management, in order to capitalise on customer relationships, follow up leads and maximise the potential for growth of the BCS business. To do this you will have proven experience within a busy sales team and you will be able to demonstrate how you have prioritized your workload in order to maximize your impact on sales targets and business objectives. A great communicator, you will be confident in dealing with all levels of personnel and other stakeholders. You should also have a finely honed commercial awareness and be committed towards great customer service.
The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing their own customer portfolio, with a keen focus on account management, in order to capitalise on customer relationships, follow up leads and maximise the potential for growth of the BCS business. The role will involve providing advice to customers regarding their selections of products and services, ensuring a high standard of delivery and dealing with any complaints and issues. We currently have a requirement for a Senior Estimator within the Walsall office to lead estimates for civil engineering works in accordance with Company estimating systems and procedures. You will work with other members of the tender teams to develop customer solutions and secure sufficient work in terms of value and type in order to meet Company objectives. The successful candidate will be required to identify opportunity and risk during the tendering process, agree methodology and principles, present estimates at adjudication and maintain knowledge of site processes and costs. You will require experience in civils, water, waste, rail or tunnelling disciplines, an understanding of construction techniques and be familiar with tender build-ups, as well as having good time management and prioritisation skills.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Design Engineer to carry out detailed design and checking of temporary works and minor permanent works for civil engineering. The role also involves providing technical support to assist with operational activities and developing value engineered alternative solutions. The successful candidate will require excellent interpersonal skills, to liaise with customers, suppliers and third parties, and assist with the approval of suppliers. This role is primarily based at our Walsall office but provides national coverage which may require occasional travel throughout the UK. Please apply if you have significant experience within the civil engineering field and hold working knowledge of industry specifications, engineering management, construction processes and technical design.
We are currently seeking a Project Manager for the Southern Region to deliver multiple on-going projects, to the specified quality, the required programme and to the maximum commercial performance. The role involves working closely with the Estimating Department, engineers and surveyors to ensure that projects are completed in a safe manner, whilst ensuring customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded. This role would suit someone with experience of managing projects within a civils/water environment and knowledge of the NEC contract including the Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms. You should also have excellent communication, people and team management skills, with the ability to influence, motivate and mentor, and relevant site qualifications.
