Gang Required (Newark)

  • Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire

We have a £62 million project in Newark working with Severn Trent Water. We have a number of tunnelling machines going into the ground. We will have 1500,1800 and 2100 Micro tunnelling machines and are looking for experienced operatives in this field including Pit boss, miners, grouters, loco drivers, slingers, and all other associated labour. We will be working as shift system of days and nights, however, when where we are crossing major roads /rivers/railway lines, we will operate a 24/7 operation. In addition we have a 2.85 metre Lovett TBM going into the ground mid-June. This is a segment drive and we need the relevant personnel to operate this machine covering a 5 day shift period both day and night shift.


Gang Required (Birmingham Resilience Project)

We have a £60 million programme of works in the South Birmingham/Frankley area for Severn Trent Water. We are looking for Miners/ Slingers and experienced 360 drivers for segmental shaft sinking. The programme of works will give continuity for shaft sinking till December starting immediately. Shafts are 7.5 and 6 metre diameter segmental. In addition we will have Micro tunnelling works with a continuity programme running from June till March 2018. We are looking for people who are experienced in this field, however, relevant training will be provided.


TBM Site Engineer
