Transport/Logistics Adminstrator

Civil Engineer

We are currently seeking a Civil Discipline Engineer to be based in our client’s co-located office in Peterborough, as part of the Anglian Water @one Alliance. The purpose of this role includes carrying out optioneering and detailed design for infrastructure projects. Projects will be mainly wastewater related and you will ensure that the solutions developed give the best whole life value to the client.

The role will include providing technical support during the construction phase and project close out. You will also plan enabling activities to ensure timely work packages for the construction teams, which are safe to construct using off site and modular building techniques.

You will need to be able to demonstrate significant experience in water infrastructure and knowledge of construction processes and technical design, and be a good team worker with the ability to work independently and make your own decisions also.

Estimator

We are looking for an experienced and talented estimator to work within the @one Alliance for Anglian Water, to be based in Thorpewood House, Peterborough, with regular travel to site.

The postholder will work within an integrated delivery team, and is accountable to the Commercial Manager for the provision to the IPL and their respective teams of robust estimates and pricing documentation of a project or programme of projects from inception through to start on site.

You’ll need extensive estimating experience within a civils environment and great communications skills to liaise with all levels of personnel, stakeholders and third parties. Previous experience of working within an alliance would be beneficial.

Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for the Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) Framework for the Anglian Water AMP 6 Programme, to provide commercial support to the project team, maintain commercial information and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

You will liaise with customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including agreement of variations, claims and any additional payments. The role also involves ensuring reporting and forecasting takes place and is accurate through working with site and support teams.

If you have previous experience of the construction industry, are familiar with NEC forms of contract, hold excellent communication, numeric and computer literacy skills and are able to work effectively in a team but also use own initiative then apply today!
